For parents
Aura Battles GG is a free browser and phone game for ages 13 and up. Two cartoon 3D fighters face off; each round both players pay a small "ante" of points into a pot, then one leads with a move (or passes) and the other answers it. The bigger move takes the pot. A match takes about two or three minutes. Here is what you need to know as a parent.
The quick answers
- Is it free? Yes. No ads, nothing to buy, no in-app purchases, no loot boxes. The points ("aura") have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold or traded.
- Is there chat? No. There is no chat of any kind and no way to send another player a message. Players can only tap a fixed set of reactions and emoji.
- Does it need an account? No. Your teen plays as a guest with a generated name. Adding an email and password is optional and only used to log in on another device or reset the password. We send no marketing email.
- Is real money involved? No real money is involved, ever, and nothing can be cashed out. The "pot" is in-game points that both players start with again in every match.
Who your teen can play against
- Fight now looks for another real player near your teen's level for a few seconds. If nobody is found, it uses a "ghost" (a computer opponent that copies the play style of a real player who chose to allow it) or a computer bot. The opponent is always labelled LIVE, GHOST or BOT.
- Battles by code: your teen can create a battle and share a 6-character code or QR with friends. Anyone who has the code can join the free seat or watch.
- Opponents and spectators see only the other player's handle (a nickname) and cartoon fighter. They cannot see an email, a real name, a location or a photo, and they cannot contact your teen.
- In a battle the fighters perform playful taunt moves at each other, like in the real "aura battle" trend. The screens around the game never mock the player who lost.
What is public
The home screen shows a public leaderboard of handles, and each fighter has a public profile page with their handle, fighter, points, wins and losses. Match recaps can be opened by anyone with the link for 7 days. Handles are generated automatically (like chill_tiger_4821); if your teen changes theirs, please make sure it is not their real name, school or anything personal. We rename handles that break our rules.
What we store
A guest profile (generated name, fighter look, scores and settings), an email and a hashed password only if your teen signs up, match recaps for 7 days, and simple game statistics for 180 days. We use no cookies, no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics. The full list is in our privacy policy.
Time and pressure
There are no daily login rewards that punish missing a day, no countdown sales and no "you lost, play again to win it back" nudges. Timers only exist inside a round. A match ends on its own in a few minutes.
Under 13, or want it deleted?
Your teen can delete their fighter and account in the game in a few seconds: me → delete my account (how). If your child is under 13, or you want your teen's data removed yourself, email [email protected] with the fighter's profile link (in the game, tap me; it looks like aurabattles.gg/u/…) or the handle. We will delete the profile and any account within 30 days. We do not ask for ID or extra personal data to do this.
