Terms of use
The short version: be 13 or older, play fair, keep your handle decent. The game is free, there is no real money in it, and aura is just for fun.
Who we are
Aura Battles GG is run by VojGin s.r.o., a company incorporated in the Czech Republic, IČO 19630727, VAT ID CZ19630727, with its registered seat at Argentinská 1140/30, Holešovice, 170 00 Praha 7, Czech Republic, registered with the Městský soud v Praze (Prague Municipal Court) under file C 389056. Who can play
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, make sure a parent or guardian is fine with you playing (here is a page for them).
- You do not need an account. A guest fighter lives on your device; if you clear your browser data without signing up, that fighter cannot be recovered.
- If you sign up, keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
Free, and no real money, ever
- The game is free. There are no ads and nothing to buy.
- Aura (and every item, move, aura or title you unlock with it) is in-game points only. It has no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, traded, transferred or exchanged for money or anything else, and does not belong to you as property. Selling or buying accounts or fighters is not allowed.
- We may change how much aura things cost or pay to keep the game fair. Your lifetime aura total never goes down.
Play fair
- No cheating: no bots, scripts, modified clients, exploiting bugs, throwing matches to move ratings, or using several fighters to farm one another.
- Do not attack, overload or try to break into the service, and do not scrape it.
- Found a bug? Tell us at [email protected] instead of using it.
Your handle
Your handle is the only text other players see from you. It must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, about self-harm, pretend to be someone else (including us), or contain personal information such as your real name, phone number, school or address. We may rename any handle that breaks this rule.
What we can do
To keep the game safe and fair we may rename a handle, reset progress gained by cheating, or suspend or delete a fighter or account that breaks these terms. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, write to us.
Our stuff, and other people's
- The game, its fighters, art, code and name belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may share screenshots, clips and share cards of your own matches anywhere, including in videos you monetise.
- The music is licensed under Creative Commons and similar licences; the credits are at /credits. The fonts are under the SIL Open Font License.
- Move names that reference memes, dances or pop culture describe a style of pose; they do not mean anyone endorses the game.
The service
We work hard to keep the game running, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will always be available, error-free, or that a match or a recap will never be lost. We may change, pause or end features or the whole game. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for the loss of in-game items, which have no monetary value.
Stopping
You can stop playing at any time and delete your fighter and account yourself, in the game (how), or ask us to (see the privacy policy).
Changes and law
If we change these terms we update this page and its date; big changes will also be announced in the game. These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without taking away the protection of the consumer law of the country where you live.
